Digging A Little Deeper

During any job within any home or commercial business that experienced a water loss, SERVPRO of Lancaster East is determined to find the source of the loss.

This home experienced an emergency flooding that occurred underneath a local home, and upon arrival, our crew dived under to the flooding hoping to find the source of this water loss. As seen in the first image, our crew assessed a general pipe system from underneath the house. After the removal of PVP fittings, the source of the water loss was found.

Generally, pipes become eroded over time causing the shell to thin and eventually become so malleable it causes a rupture in the pipe. This pipe is seen to have severe erosion and was only uncovered once the pipe fitting was removed.

SERVPRO of Lancaster East can remediate any problem, but finding that problem is one of the extra measures we take to ensure an accurate clean-up and restoration. "Like it never even happened."
